The CNC router is used to cut and rebate backs for fabricated letters, using expanded PVC. The machine can also cut out MDF or ACM (aluminium composite material) shapes and faces for lightboxes to allow for “push-through” logos and letters which have been lasercut, fabricated or routercut.  Many materials which cannot be cut on the laser can be router cut. Due to the diameter of the cutter, internal corners are not sharp and small items can be a problem.  The router also does engraving including V groove and can relief carve letters and other shapes. For thick acrylic, router cut is cheaper than laser cut, but the edge is matt finish not high gloss. Sign by Fabsigns. Expanded PVC letters with 2 pack paint. Sign by Sign A Rama, North Brisbane.
